Unusual Tools: Irega adjustable wrench

I can't remember how this wrench came into my possession, but it's one of the very few Spanish tools in my shop.  Among it's more curious features is the integral 17 mm box end wrench opening at the end of the handle.  Why 17 mm is anyone's guess.

Irega S.A.(Sociedad AnĂ³nima--Public Limited Company) is based in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the northern province of Vizcaya, Basque country.  The company was founded in 1945 as a tool maker, but decided in 1960 to specialize in adjustable wrenches.  That's all that they make today, exporting all around the world. They have some interesting videos on their website demonstrating their production techniques.
