Engine cutaway

I've always liked cutaway display engines.


This is the 28 cylinder radial Pratt and Whitney Wasp Major (R-3460).

Specifications:
Bore 5.8" Stroke 6" (4 rows of 9)
2800 HP at 2700 rpm as originally built.
3500 HP as used on the B-36 Bomber.
4500 HP as used on certain 'Reno racers"
Weight 3600 lbs
